No, as I needed you to name one team. I gather that you probably read the question wrong, but I had to treat your answer the same as others, i.e. back when KK was sending in half a dozen guesses per answer in the hope one of them was right.
Ok, that's fair enough. Should have read it properly anyway.

All 3 batsmen I had bookmarked this round have just been selected in consecutive picks. Looks like it's time for plan B. Select a 4th number 4 batsman. Martin Crowe

1.Eddie Barlow*
2.Vijay Merchant
3.Greg Chappell
4.Denis Compton
5.Mahela Jayawardene
6.Martin Crowe
7.
8.Ray Lindwall
9.Wes Hall
10.Sydney Barnes
11.
Crowe is a better bat than the other 3 imho.

I don't think any of them really have much of a history at 3, so I guess just pick the best bat, which is Chappell.

Ah, I did hope he would last for two more rounds.

I think at this stage you'll struggle to get a no.11 bowler who'll match up to the rest of that superb-looking attack. Perhaps you'd be better served getting one bowling allrounder and a specialist keeper to bat #8/#9.

That is one of the options I'm considering. However I reckon there are plenty of high quality spinners left. From India alone there is Gupte, Bedi, Chandrasekhar and Prasanna.
I won't be picking Doherty, Compton already fulfills my left arm filth requirements.

Yeah the spinner slot was never a concern. I had Gupte in mind among those available but was just too tempted by Tayfield once I realized people failed to pick him earlier.

One only needs one Keeper/batsman and spinner, so only 18 were ever going to be needed, so unlike other positions, there were always going to be some good ones left. After the top 3/4 of each position, not much to sepatate between the rest.

Reading through the thread its pretty apparent that hb is cheating. No idea why you guys have let him continue. You guys are frankly too kind/naive.
