Does Pollard actually have any desire to play test cricket?
Yes he's stated loads of times that he'd like to play Test cricket,

Here is what he said on the issue late last year!!

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph Newspaper, Pollard said, “Test cricket is always going to be the ultimate. My ambition is to play in all three formats. Next year, I’m going to play more first-class cricket. I decided not to go to the T20 tournament in South Africa because I wanted to play first-class cricket in the Caribbean. The Sri Lankan league is off now, but I pulled out of that as well.”

As you can imagine some of my fellow WI fans are getting excited about what he could possibly do in the Test side after he's impressive performances in the one dayers of late  , it would be interesting to see how he copes with the patience game, his four day stats are certainly one of the better records in the Caribbean so it's not like he can't stay at the crease for long spells,

I wouldn't be adverse to it but is he really gonna drop the IPL to face the Aussies and England in the tests? that's the ultimate question, if he was prepard to do that then i guess the selectors would have a decision to make, especially as we have a spot up for grabs after Samuels decided to go to the IPL, though right now Narsingh Deonarine seems to be the favorite to replace him after his great performances for Guyana this season.

West Indies piddling about a little bit here. I don't like the way they've mucked around with the batting order, if you pick batsmen then they should get a chance to bat properly. They're basically asking the batsmen to come in and slog at the end and the hitters to come in and bat properly. The hitters have done well so there's no reason to alter that.

LOL i just have to laugh at these clowns!!.. the middle order was crap from the time they decided to pick Hyatt and Samuels!!, no Russell down the order either and Baugh is an utter embarrassment, this isn't a good T20 team at all, it seems like they put everything into the ODIs and said "to hell with the t20s" 8-) .

Let's see, 160 isn't a bad score, but it did look like being at least 20 more a little while ago.

Has the pitch in Barbados changed recently?

I was there a couple of years ago (20/20 world cup) and it wasn't a batsman's paradise by any means.

Narine seems to have taken Bishoo's spot in the short game - how likely is he to play in the Tests?

Aus still not finding the boundaries.

Oh dear, drop by Charles - it was on to him a bit quicker than he'd have expected tbf. At long leg you expect any catches to go quite a bit higher.
