Because he wasn't that good of a cricketer. Name me one all-time list that he makes.I'd like to hear a reason why Jardine is seemingly such a joke pick.
The last one we did was an all-time list.Because he wasn't that good of a cricketer. Name me one all-time list that he makes.
I do rate him, but realised that he wasn't good enough to be in my top 25.Why didn't you include Younis if you rate him?
Edit: List sent.
Not sure if you mind me saying, but Waqar did make your list.I do rate him, but realised that he wasn't good enough to be in my top 25.
Haha yeah I hoped that someone would pick me up on that. The last one we did was an all-time list.
How many different cricketers does everyone expect to get 1 or more votes?
Yeah that's probably a better way of deleting outliers rather than minimum amount of votes.Chances are that there'll be more people doing it this time, which removes the outlier anyway. Collusion between people is a bigger "threat" than people making a random choice or two.
He was an exceptionally important cricketer though; one of the biggest names in cricketing history.Because he wasn't that good of a cricketer. Name me one all-time list that he makes.
Fair enough. I tend to pick cricketers on ability though, not influence. Having Jardine in a "top 25 most influential/important cricketers" is fair enough thoughHe was an exceptionally important cricketer though; one of the biggest names in cricketing history.
It just says CW Top 50 cricketers, so we've been left to form our own ways of ranking the list.
He's not a cricketer - forwent that title when he damaged the game and turned it into warfare. He was an exceptionally important cricketer though; one of the biggest names in cricketing history.

One of the greatest captains, responsible for one of the most memorable series of all time, devised a tactic that reduced the greatest batsman of all time to a mere mortal, and wasn't too shabby with the bat either.Because he wasn't that good of a cricketer. Name me one all-time list that he makes.
Rahul McDravid beats him for me.Plus, he's the greatest ever Scottish cricketer.
OK, I have sent my top 25 (haven't included Younis).
Not sure if you mind me saying, but Waqar did make your list.
