By that I mean you accuse people of trolling way too much.
What? Dude, are you sure you are not mixing me up with somebody else.

You are not making sense.

I don't accuse people of trolling very often despite a lot of times people trolling openly. I don't know where you got this impression from?

As he had to.It's akin to a bowler grimacing after his rank half volley gets the treatment it deserves. You seem a sport though so apologies if you took offense to anything.Just want to point out there's a thin line between banter and trolling.
Just to clarify here too that by saying "Indians getting their butts whipped royally" was not meant as something to bait indian posters. The ones who are here long enough know that. The thing is that I follow quite a bit of cricket and I didn't follow the CB series because Indians were getting thrashed down under and as a neutral it wasn't any fun to watch.

Which is why I was shocked to see India chasing 321 in 36 overs down under and it had slipped under my radar.

It's you or Agent.

Tbh if trolling was accepted in communities then the world would be a better place, like blatant trolling, like the KING of trolling.... BENCHMARK:wub:

Fine.I rarely post here so doesn't matter anyway.A few blokes need to be put in their place, though.Making stupid and trollish threads like comparing Afghanistan and India's bowling reeks of foolishness.God has a funny way of making people eat humble pie though so all good.
Yeah it was silly of me to make that thread, but you haven't been here long enough to see guys making fun/silly posts like that. It was harmless, so no need to make comments like "a few blokes need to be put in their place". And was fitting that Pakistan lose the match thanks to their rubbish bowling.

Regarding Pakistan and India down under, both got whitewashed so I don't understand how we did worse.

Kohli is an arrogant ****,but this was one majestic innings. He really is a special talent, and perhaps the best young batsman in the world out there.Whether he can reproduce his ODI talent in Test Matches remains to be seen, but that is another discussion - Today's innings was epic in every sense of the word.

I'm actually not too downhearted after the defeat. We lost to a team,or a player to put it more precisely, who batted much better than us.Bowling from both sides was dire.I was appalled at Wahab Riaz's line today.Someone who is so good at bowling right in the blockhole, was constantly bowling short of length, getting punished, and then repeating the same line ball after ball. What was even more shocking was Misbah's decision to recall him in the attack in the final overs.Aizaz Cheema would have been a safer, better bet.

Also, with all our bowlers minus Ajmal being taken for a ride,i found it odd that Hammad Azam wasn't given a bowl.India batted brilliantly, our bowling was dire, but Misbah's captaincy wasn't inspiring either.I know he has this calming influence on the pitch, but tonight we needed passion, and you couldn't see that from the captain. This is one of the major reasons why i want Afridi reinstated.

I think the last thing Pakistan cricket needs right now is two captains for two formats, because knowing their history and general team dynamic over the years, it's only going to open pandora's box all over again, the effects of which will surely boil over into the Test side as well. For better or worse, mostly better, Misbah is the guy to hold this team together if you want generally consistent Test match results. It might lead to the odd ODI loss like today, but horses for courses won't work for Pak cricket, I'm afraid.

I really don't know if bowling standards worldwide have gone down in the shorter formats or not.Bowling attacks get torn apart way too regularly in the ODI game these days. These ridiculous high chases do make ODI cricket boring IMO.The 2011 WC for example, was a breath of fresh air.You didn't see the same 300+ scorelines every match.

I wouldn't say that's necessarily a bad thing. I think the batsmen are approaching chases with lot more calmness than before. A match is no longer 'over' if the team batting first scores 320 as was the case in 90's. And that can only be a good thing. If bowlers are looking much worse it's probably because the batsmen are making them look ordinary with their decisive batting approach. We still have likes of Malinga and Ajmal who bowl smartly and give us good contests.

The lower scores in the world cup (especially in the knock out stages) might well be an outcome of safety first approach when the stakes were too high.

You can talk about bat technology and decisive batting all you like but the distance from the fence at which ropes are being placed nowadays is ridiculous on some grounds and goes some way to explaining why higher scores are occurring more often

Furthermore, it detracts from the ground's character

Agree with that. In some of the grounds even Half timing shots are going for sixes. Sadly these days cricket has become more of a business than a game.

Small boundaries will affect teams batting first as well as second. So that doesn't explain why chasing has become far more nerveless.
