Quiz Draft

Eds

International Debutant
Yeah I wanted Walcott as well.

Think Hb has the draft sewn up right there. Which is a shame.

Whatever it takes!!!
I had it as Gary Gilmour. I knew both had 5 in that finals but could not work out who would have gone for lesser... Took a gamble on the winning team and the fact that with Viv and Collis King going bananas, I didn't expect any of those Aussie bowlers to have had that good a figure, given they were 60 over games back then..

@ Eds, would you mind if I go before you? I have always been right at the end, so it would be a nice change.

With the recent surge in keeper-batsman being taken, I'll join them and take Kumar Sangakarra as my next pick

should confess I lucked out with Windies and Ian Chappell.. I guess Windies coz I knew NZ won their first game sometime in the 50s and given that we didn't play them that much at that time (we = India and Pak), Windies were the only other "weak" side around then.. And I could have guessed it would be a Chappell and took a punt with Ian as I felt Greg was not captain during Brearley's time. The first name that came to my mind seeing that question was Allan Border, actually :) Then I worked out that he only became captain in the mid to late 80s..

Seriously.

Anyway changed pick to Rahul Dravid, if no one minds.

Team thus far:
Barry Richards
Rahul Dravid
Gary Sobers
Dennis Lillee

Also best slip cordon assembled thus far I believe.
