The hell...Hopefully Steyn gets back in his good ol self soon, has been such a rough patch for him since ages now.

I am glad he is not an Indian else the media would have forced him to retire. Or maybe they would have plotted a fight between Philander & Steyn...Couldn't agree more, mate.
These guys are still human and they are allowed to have their average days. Its not like he bowled 20 overs 0-110 or something.
**** I hate the journos/media!
Steyn posted a pic of his bloodied, blistered toes on twitter.
Think SA probably need 350 if the pitch continues to be placid. Tahir wasn't terrible but didn't do enough to suggest he'd run through the kiwis if the quicks didn't get the job done.
Kiwis were quite plucky after being in trouble at tea.
I'm very disappointed. A golden opportunity squandered.I'll be very disappointed if NZ don't get at least 100 run lead.
Lolo, good form....So anyway New Zealand to face a 4th innings target of 350-400. Briony to proclaim the Kiwis as heavy favourites and Steyn to take a 5-fer as they get skittled for 150.
Spot on - would expect SA to score more than that actually. So anyway New Zealand to face a 4th innings target of 350-400. Briony to proclaim the Kiwis as heavy favourites and Steyn to take a 5-fer as they get skittled for 150.
Have lost faith that he's ever going to grow up and my first thought when I saw this was more time to get boozed. If you haven't grown up enough to show a little discipline in pursuing your life by 27-30 you probably won't - either that or he simply would prefer to lay about and drink rather than play cricket for NZ.Jess is taking an indefinite break.
IMO he's performed well enough to be retained at the expense of Watling already, barring some awful dropped catch in the second innings.Any thoughts on what van Wyk would theoretically need in the 4th inns to keep a passed-fit Watling at bay?
At this stage it seems Brownlie won't be playing the next test so I'd imagine both van Wyk and Watling will play, one as keeper and the other as a batsman at Nicol's expense. I guess Watling would probably take the gloves seeing as he's now the long term keeper? If Brownlie is back and Watling is fit then van Wyk will probably need a match-winning 80 or 100.Any thoughts on what van Wyk would theoretically need in the 4th inns to keep a passed-fit Watling at bay?
Get fit and get professional, you ****ing nonce. Dump those wankers who claim to be your friends. Make something of your gift.Jess is taking an indefinite break.
