Do you mean Harvey didn't know he wasn't going to be captain or he didn't know who was going to be captain after him?

Harvey and Scott had been talking about it for a while, and Harvey came to Scott and said he was open to the idea of stepping down as captain to benefit the team. It's not as if Harvey was expecting to be captain and then he gave it to someone else.

AFL 360 last week reported that at the announcement (the public one in the field) they had heard that Harvey did not know whether he was going to be captain. Robbo said "surely this isn't true", which I imagined it wouldn't be. Just wanted to double check.

Either way the fact Harvey kept saying weeks beforehand he wanted to be captain was confusing.

Nah I think it's a gee up. Harvey would have know for sure. Brad Scott knows where it's at, Harvey would've been captain if he said he wanted to be.
