I have to say I think it's a farce that SA win despite the game being a tie - particularly considering the competition this season was just 8 rounds long with teams only playing some opponents once and others twice. When it comes to a final, if it's a tie, they should either share it or have some way of breaking the tie. Once you're in a final, round points shouldn't count for anything.
Same with the Shield final, where one team generally plays for a boring draw not dissimilar to what we often see in Sri Lankan home tests.
