*Official* English Football Season 2011-12

Tom Halsey

International Coach
The standard of football in Scotland is dreadful, and Bartley doesn't exactly stand out up here. He's not woeful but a player who might be ready to make the step up into Arsenal's first team should have showed a lot more than Bartley has in his time up here.

He's a Championship level player at best.
"Not woeful" would qualify as being good enough for Arsenal's back four though at the moment.

Porto are a joke of a club, so glad we belted the ****s. **** I hate Portugese football, no redeeming features whatsoever. Mourinho, Ronaldo, the list goes on. Wouldn't be upset of the country broke off and sank into the ocean.
Oh, and:

Seriously, you make millions of dollars a year. Shave your ****ing forehead you idiot ****.

"This is a decisive step which creates certainty. The players are fully behind it," Wolves owner Steve Morgan said.

Yeah, sacking a manager who seemed to be well liked by the players, publicly pursuing a number of other managers who all turned the job down and then shunting the assistant of the manager who's just been sacked into the job is clearly a decisive step which creates certainly. Absolute pish, relegation surely beckons.

I will miss him even if he has done nothing of note for a good while. During his first year he was great fun for a neutral.

Such a waste of talent. Shame, we do need the depth but he is just so lazy. Might as well count our pennies, possibly giving up 4th anyways knowing this club.

It's a testament to ineptitude. My guess is that after being interviewed some of the "names" were quite shocked to find just how buggered the Wolfs really are, financially speaking.

According to my sources (i.e. the bird what sits next to me at work) Connor is known as "The Clipboard" and is/was seen very much as a yes man to McCarthy.

Interesting to read what Jez Moxley said not two weeks ago:

Mr Moxley said:
It is not a job for a novice

Wolves must have been close to phoning McCarthy and saying 'yeah, about that sacking? Prank that went too far. We'd love you back in the dugout.'

Haha, didn't do too badly today as it turns out. Sounds like another amusing result at Loftus Road as well. Too bad Wigan didn't win though.

Posted this on another forum but...all trains from Liverpool to London have been cancelled, seriously.
