His T20I record speaks for itself. But I have noticed that he becomes a completely different bowler every time the ball reverses, which it did here. So maybe that's why he is so good.

He is one of the best reverse swing bowler in the world. Remember him blowing you guys away last ODI's in England when the ball reversed.

Good spot, hadn't really thought about the amount of reverse swing every time he gets smacked, only when he rips through teams :p

The two ODIs we won against you guys in England was because of Gul.
Under the lights, in England, in September, he had the ball really tailing in to the batsman in those 2 one day games, he caused all kinds of problems, perfect conditions for him.

Mentally Gul isn't a main bowler. He is just a support bowler. He supported Asif and Amir and before them Akhtar. But now he has been forced to become the main bowler, and that's too much for him, which is why he failed in the ODI's. He was good in the Tests because he was supporting the spinners.

England desperately missed Bresnan at the death with both bat and ball. No way would that 19th over have gone for 13 with Bresnan bowling it and no way would he have mustered a pathetic 2 from 7 a la Swanny.

Bresnan should always be in the T20 side as he is the best death bowler we have.

Buttler flopped again, bit worrying, but he's worth giving 15+ games to, as he is a proven match winner. No point picking all 3 of Kieswetter, Buttler and Bairstow. I'd bring in Cook, as skipper, for Kieswetter and bat Bairstow at 4 and Morgan at 5. As well as Bresnan in for Finn.

Pakistan with a good win again against the world number 1 side, but really there's nothing between the 2 sides in this format. The 2 best T20 bowling attacks in the world.

Don't think he's yet 100% fit, well down on pace the other night, probably didn't want to push him too much.

Yes I'd have gone with Cook and KP, there both so used to facing this Paktstan side by now, you can see the ones that have just come in are still getting to grips with the spinners.
You can see Buttler's silly talented, it will take time for him to get up to speed but I'd put money on him getting there, just needs one good knock.
