Dont think so. He bowls way too slow and doesnt have an outswinger. If his batting was better we could have used him in place of Jadeja but he bats well once in a blue moon.

Haha what? Irfan's a fine batsmen, and as we've seen today (and in the past) he can actually accelerate when required unlike Jadeja. If he can somehow get wickets first up with the new ball, then I think he is well and truly back and can be a massive boost for us with the balance he presents.

As far as ODI's go, a tail of Ashwin, Irfan, Jadeja, maybe even Bhajji in the future is awesome. Only problem is that most of these guys (Bhajji and to a lesser extent Irfan aside) can't really hit the big shots. Which is kind of what u need in the latter stages of an ODI innings.
