Perhaps because his bat was never grounded across the line? Was always in the air when it crossed, I think. Dunno.
Would have to be. Law 29.

"if a running batsman, having grounded some part of his foot behind the popping crease, continues running further towards the wicket at that end and beyond, then any subsequent total loss of contact with the ground of both his person and his bat during his continuing forward momentum shall not be interpreted as being out of his ground."

Gotta catch those CK, I'm afraid, particularly when there are two other 'keepers in the squad.

Okay, those bopara overs were very bopara-esque, can we not do that again. I honestly think Trott's the better bowler.

What a good over by Finn - batting Powerplay, 2 attacking batsmen well set, and they never looked like getting him away.

God knows what happened to Broad's first over. The rest has been much more what we'd come to expect from him.

Pakistan favourites now. Disappointing to say the least.

That said, aside from Anderson it's hard to see what England could have done much better. Been a very good partnership this.

Edit: had forgotten Kieswetter's drop. Looks like I have my pillorying target all set up.

Craig Kieswetter says 'hi'.

Beyond that, iirc Cook could have chosen more potent bowlers when they first came together instead of doing the captaincy-by-numbers thing.

Meh, very good partnership but England are massive value right now. $2.3 on betfair a steal imo.
