Did you get that job in the foreign ministry then or are you still making Sushi?

Genuine question.
Off to chef school next week. :)

If I did get a job at MFAT, I would probably be losing it about now anyways. 500 jobs is it, that they are cutting?

Ooooh, exciting. Was convinced I was going to end up a Chef up to about two years ago. Then I met Physics and Chemistry and my future is erring strongly towards being a boring sciencey ****. Good luck with that! :D

No highlights on Prime tonight, dire stuff. Screw this, going to bed.

Hira getting a game, finally. Reminds me of Jeets, weird.

Good to see Kaneh  make some runs too, though I'd rather have him only for the test side tbh.

another day, another defeat. Great to see Chickenburger hitting it outta the park along with Hamilton.

Get this series over with already!

Went along to the match at the last minute, pleasantly surprised Zimbabwe tried to make a game of things as I was a little skeptical that we'd be in for an early finish when Taylor went early. Not a massive crowd by any means but sat close to a vocal group of Zimbabweans who made things entertaining as Chigumbura launched in the final few overs of Zimbabwe's innings and during Jarvis' opening spell. Guptill certainly seemed to quieten them down in a hurry.

Zimbabwe need a boot up the backside. The quality of their ground and out fielding has been absolutely atrocious.
100% catching record tonight so at least that part of their game's improving...

Seriously though, the groundfielding was woeful yet again; it'd be embarrassing for a decent school side let alone an international outfit.

Never been particularly impressed with Chigumbura, and while I still have major doubts over his ability to bowl at an international level, his hitting against the NZ quicks was very good to watch tonight. Given he was seemingly inept at playing Nethula in Napier, I get the impression hes a strong preference for pace bowling...

What a time to be alive, Hira the pick of the bowlers and Colin De **** doesn't get to face a ball or bowl any of his filth, beautiful.

On the other hand, if Chigumbura had hit another 6 me and a mate would've shared $9,000, so FML

he has his days. When it's his day he can take anyone on, but the unfortunate thing is these "days" are rare. I'm sure his next big innings will be in 20 games time.

Why's a city of 150,000 getting two T20Is in the space of five days? How keen would you need to be to go to both?

The game should've really been in Nelson, then up to Wgtn for Friday night.

Anyone willing to admit they live in Hamilton?
How's the weather?
Digs at Hamilton. Cuuuuute.

Yeah, the weather's fine atm, though there's been thick cloud on the horizons all day.

Obviously not as many are keen on the Zimbo game, but there should be solid crowds for both, more than you'd get from having it in Nelson at any rate. :p
