Yuvraj Singh has a tumour

Very sad news, came on the same day as a very good friend got diagnosed with ovarian cancer, puts stuff into perspective.

How common is lung cancer in India? I know that it's pretty much entirely caused by pollutants/smoking and other like environmental causes; does the pollution in the cities act as a significant risk factor?

Best wishes to the lad. Talented player. Good to hear its in stage 1, he should be able to beat it.

Incredibly worrying and how awful for Yuvraj and those close to him. Let's hope the prognosis is as positive as people are saying. And let's hope that the chemo is bearable.

Just as an aside, I find it odd that the quoted report begins by billing this as a "setback" for "Indian cricket lovers".

Just saw the headline on CI. Shocked me a bit after reading here a few days ago that it was benign. Horrible news for Yuvraj and I hope he recovers quickly.

I’ve been seeing the picture below being circulated amongst a lot of Pakistanis on Facebook and emails. It’s just a minor thing I know, but it really gave me a positive feeling to see it.

Whatever it takes!!!
I really do think a majority of the Pakistan people are very nice guys... Just wish our politicians had that sort of understanding that normal people across both countries seem to have. :)

And obviously, most of the Pak members here are wonderful posters as well.

If you blokes respected Yuvraj you'd not have bowled him out for a golden duck when he had a ****ing tumour in the World Cup semi.
