A Zimbabwean finally got a run-out!!!!!!

"The player formerly known as Colin de Grandhomme", and who now goes by the symbol "?", is amazing.

The annoying thing about Ellis is that he has a nice fast-medium bowlers run-up, which is completely wasted by a ridiculously truncated delivery stride and front-on/inside-out action, which is then in turn salvaged by blatantly chucking. Just bowl properly ****.

Given how Taylor is still toying with us, it worries me a little about our prospects when South Africa come and we have to play batsman who are, like, good

Say all you want about de Grandhomme, and some do (with justification I'll add) but to take those two catches nervelessly in your first time in the field for NZ, under lights (I doubt he's ever played under them, at least not for a long long time), the fact they were both tough chances...gutsy. Given the right coaching and mental application to batting, playing internationally won't phase him.

It's that scary point in your life where a lot of current professional sportsmen are younger than you.

I'm older than him by just under two months.
Tom Latham and Adam Milne are the first guys from memory that have been born after me. It is ****ing scary actually.

He showed fellow Zimbos how to actually hold on to cricket ball, only that he's wearing the wrong shirt
