They'll make the playoffs without Dirk. We just went 15-5 in January while battling injuries and playing great D (I really don't know how we're playing good D with Chandler gone, but I'm not complaining). We basically just need to be in playoff contention in March and then have Dirk and Kidd back, healhty, and fresh. As Dirk himself stated, no one in the West scares me (and that’s a feeling that probably all the top teams in the West share about each other). It's anyone's division right now.
well there is more quality and more parity in the west right now but the thunder are a cut above the rest and in my book are heavy favorites to win the conference..san antonio is still an excellent team (although with manu out for the season, i don't think they can contend), denver is an excellent team as well...and i am not trying to bug you here but i just can't see dallas repeating this season, can you?

Not at the moment, no. However, I just don't think there's a dominating team in the West that's all. Any team that gets hot going into the playoffs has a legitimate shot to win the West. I've seen the Thunder (the Mavs have played them a few times and lost, but it was fairly close each time). They don't put the same fear in me that the Lakers and Spurs of the past did.

agreed...but i just don't see dallas as that team...they have lost chandler and butler and their most important acquisition odom has been lack-luster at best...they are definitely a lesser team this season...

Apparently Kendrick is a little embarrassed by it (either that or he just doesn't like LeBron)

The highlight quickly went viral with numerous other NBA players commenting about it on Twitter. But James' tweet upset Perkins.

"You don't see Kobe (Bryant) tweeting," Perkins told Yahoo! Sports. "You don't see Michael Jordan tweeting. If you're an elite player, plays like that don't excite you.

"At the end of the day, the guys who are playing for the right reasons who are trying to win championships are not worrying about one play. They also are not tweeting about themselves talking about going down to No. 2," Perkins added, according to the report. "I just feel (James) is always looking for attention and he wants the world to like him."
The "Offending" tweet ftr

"Dunk of the Year! @blakegriffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!!! Wow! I guess I'm No. 2 now. Move over #6"

I don't know. In that same article he does say he didn't care about it and that he'll contest it again the next time instead of running away (poke to Durant?). Even said that it was a very good finish by Blake. I think he just doesn't like LeBron. Can't blame him.

Kendrick Perkins wouldn't be the defender he is if he didn't risk getting Postered like that game after game. #BEATLA

BARNES OUT
Made one big shot yeah, shouldn't have even gone to OT, he created the seperation on LMA at the end of regulation and bricked the shot. Same in the first OT.

Crawford and Felton killed Rip City tonight, a combined ****-all from ****loads from the field. They should just pass it to LMA on every trip up and hope Camby/Batum/Crash can just get an offensive rebound.

It wasn't so much Linsanity, but more T'Wolves retardation than won the Knicks that one.

But anyhoo, what a story.
