England's batting averages say it all. ****ing disgrace.
I have no idea why but I LOL'ed in the library at this.
One more good test series for Pakistan and we could be in top 3. This is amazing.ICC rankings update:
1 England 118
2 South Africa 117
3 India 111
4 Australia 111
5 Pakistan 108
England hanging on by the tiniest of threads...
Funny, had the impression yesterday that you were paying rather close attention to my posts. Not upset by the passing allusion to the two Black Caps "dangermen", were you?cliffs on ABC123s rant?
That doesn't add up... England are only ahead by 1 point (according to Ruckus). Surely if SA win 2-1 or 1-0 they get on top.RSA won't win 3-0, so England will stay no. 1
Nope. New Zealand are ranked 8th, so winning by 1 Test won't gain South Africa points. That doesn't add up... England are only ahead by 1 point (according to Ruckus). Surely if SA win 2-1 or 1-0 they get on top.
According to the FTP:Who do we play next in a test series?
Thanks Ikki.I am sure I am not the only one but I love seeing a strong Pakistan. It is totally different to a strong India. The only subcontinental team IMO that doesn't have a complex about them and with the right players can pummel even the best sides.
So basically we play the same teams again only at the opposite venues.According to the FTP:
India (a) March 2012 - though this has been postponed.
Bangladesh (h) April - May 2012 - 2 Tests
Sri Lanka (a) May - June 2012 - 3 Tests
Zimbabwe (a) January 2013 - 2 Tests
South Africa (a) January - February 2013 - 3 Tests
West Indies (a) June - July 2013 - 2 Tests
Hmm... that doesn't give them much opportunity for genuine upward movement for quite a while.According to the FTP:
