Players get injured and granted I did forget about the calf injury, but he's no Tremlett and there was certainly no basis behind you bringing Flintoff into it as that's a whole other level.

I think it's relevant because judging by how Bres has gone so far in Tests, and trusting one's own eyes as to his apparent ability, it's not unreasonable to imagine him being a similar quality and type of player to Flintoff with bat and ball.

But the moment you play 5 bowlers, let's assume it's successful, then you build the whole balance of your side around it and the all rounder becomes your most vital player. When Fred was not playing the team always seemed to have a hangover without him as it changed the whole dynamic. And when thinking about going this route and going by past history it doesn't help if Bresnan has been injured a lot lately.
