Because there's no chance England's bowlers might've had something to do with it.
That was pretty much assumed, but you still require either stupid batting,assistance from the pitch or both to get a team out for less than 100.

takes a lot of motivation to do that
England's #1 position depends on this match, right? So not a proper dead rubber for England then. Apart from their position, they have a point to prove anyway.

Broad's improvement since the SL series has been unbelievable. He's gone from 36.25 per wicket before to 30.80 now. Shaved basically 5.5 runs off his average in seven tests. Well, six and a half.
+1. He has been very impressive lately and his batting has improved by leaps and bounds too.
