Scorecard Draft III

I've probably worked it out wrong, but it appears Weldone can select any one of 3 cricketers.

If these 3 are selected before he can pick, what happens? (I assume they won't be, but I'm interested to know).

EDIT: I hate you Teja.
weldone is banking on those 3 for sure... :D

He'll have painted himself into a corner, and will have to stop playing, IMO. Unless everyone takes pity and decides to hand him a sheep.

PS: Agree wrt Teja.

Thanks Masud.

In fact when I picked Ian Chappell, I had this exact path in mind (Chappell-Pollock-Richards). Now my batting order looks solid already. My opening bowlers are gun, too. Will need some useful support bowlers next.
Don't act like you don't need a wicketkeeper-batsman. ;)

Quality wicketkeepers are aplenty in the era I am dealing now - isn't going to be a problem.

It didn't matter much as soon as Gilchrist was gone, TBF. There are plenty of good batsmen with average keeing, and plenty of average batsmen with great keeping (I will probably choose someone in this category). There are some reasonably OK batsmen with reasonably OK keeping...and there is Gilchrist.

umm...well...I mean...don't you want to pick a wicketkeeper- batsman in the very next turn after picking Barry Richards ;)

I'm thinking it wasn't the brightest idea jumping into another era when everyone else did the same and there were 30 picks to go before I could make mine.

Howe_zat is doing the smart thing by crawling backwards. Some good players to be picked in 19th century.
