Don't mind the rain break too much. Guarantees more for KiWiNiNjA and I to watch over the weekend.
****ing Napier. "Ooh look at us, we so sunny!" Yeah, just sunny enough to make the pitch flatter than a dead mans heart beat before pouring down with rain just when things are getting interesting for NZ, moving the odds of a draw from certain to the eleventh commandment. On top of it, our best batsman has injured himself batting on this waste of 22 yards.
Seriously, worst ****ing test venue. Bright sunshine in Palmerston North atm, and if it's warm and sunny in Palmy then Napier has no excuse.
Indeed Flem on fire.
Quality.

Nah mate, Seddon Park. [/straightface]Match should have been at the ****ing Basin. Like all cricket in NZ.
Well you'd bloody well hope so because the guy looks like a second team club bowler, he was horrible. Infact everyone bar Jarvis was almost cringeworthy to watch, I don't think I've seen a more underwhelming bowling attack in test cricket in all my life, they were that bad.I'm glad the rain came because I couldn't take the humiliation anymore. Like PEWS said all this talk about a green wicket got to the Zimbos hence they strived to hard to get the magic zippers. Vitori in particular looked like he was trying to do too much with the ball which resulted in 115kph harmless wide half vollies and extremely straight lines. He's better than this that's for sure.
Now here's our good opportunity to get a draw we better not blow it
That's exactly what he was about a year ago.Well you'd bloody well hope so because the guy looks like a second team club bowler
I really hope you're wrong. That's exactly what he was about a year ago.
Unlike his potential replacements he's viewed as someone who could bowl a real Test quality spell; he can nudge 140 and get swing and bounce, so if he really clicks his best spell is going to be better than any other bowler's best spell. It's becoming increasingly obvious that he's not going to click very often at all though and when he's bowling like this it'd make more sense to give Taylor or Hamilton a bowl.. which isn't good.
This is John Wright's team we're talking about, can't see either happening. With rain forecast for day 5, NZ really need to declare early.... or get out slogging.
Either's good.
Yeah, some good banter this morning. Is our commentary team getting better or is it just me? Even Smithy seems to be less terrible to me.
