That's always a great clue and one I've used when umpiring, but you could hardly call the decision a shocker. The noise is going have the umpire putting the finger up more often than not.

The appeal would have been tricky for Dharmablahblah to gauge, whether or not it was underwhelming because the fielders are shot or whether they weren't sure of it being out.

The noise didn't sound woody but it did line up live.

If only there was a system available to assist the umpires in their decision-making when the possible nick is that fine.
