I think ours are better and actually turn the ball. Ajmal gets success by being different and people not picking his slight variation, doesn't turn it much at all. Hafeez is the biggest turner Pakistan have and Swann and Monty both give it a far bigger rip.

They just look poor in comparison to Swann, who gets a ridiculous amount of revolutions on the ball as he really rips it. If you compare how much Ajmal and Rehman turn it compared to Lyon or Vettori then it's about the same.

Have you been watching? The way England are letting the spinners bowl at them, its a matter of time before there's a close in catch or LBW. They need to take control, and push the field back.

Not as though they need to up the ante too much though, just rotate the strike. Right/left combo will mean they hopefully won't settle as well.

They're not really doing that though, but yes rotating strike should be enough.

'Up the ante' means rotating the strike, because they weren't really even doing that before lunch.
