Well Watson will be back for the West Indies series, and I think it became pretty evident a while that it'd probably be Marsh to go unless he actually scored some runs here. By being so, so ridiculously bad he may have played himself out of the reserve batsman spot as well though.Where now for Shaun Marsh? Lucky there's not another test in this series as he'd be gone for sure.
Bradman-like superiority over peers.
Heh in the one match Rutherford batted down the order he scored half his runs with a blistering aggregate of 6 (54) out twice, the 3 matches in the top order he managed a mind boggling 6 (18) out 6 times.Batting records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo
Rutherford gets in if you extend it to the range of top 7.
be interesting to see what impact marsh being around the OD team and Usman being in the shield hasWell Watson will be back for the West Indies series, and I think it became pretty evident a while that it'd probably be Marsh to go unless he actually scored some runs here. Exactly. Re: Ponting.Nothing like a scratchy fifty against New Zealand to prove everyone wrong.
Usman by a street as the reserve - looks to have a very good temperament and his only flaw is that he didnt cash in on one of the many starts he madeWell Watson will be back for the West Indies series, and I think it became pretty evident a while that it'd probably be Marsh to go unless he actually scored some runs here. Ken Rutherford "beats" him if you extend the sample to top 6 batsmen.
