You'd have needed Paul Collingwood to have a shot at catching Cowan's edge. IMO there was almost no chance of that being caught.

Yeah it's not unique to him either, many tall pace bowlers have the same problem with hitting a good drivable length. Myself included, tbh. It's too tempting to just whack it in and watch the batsman play and miss.

haha, if there is such a thing as stereotypical dismissals, the three today so far cover just about all of them for Adelaide. Bowled by a straight one, LBW pinned on the crease to an in-ducker and caught at cover, tick, tick, tick.
