Anyway, players like Moran are one of the best things about the 'new' Big Bash. These teams aren't looking to build and develop long-term squads by picking Under 19 heroes who aren't good enough yet and nor should they; they're looking to put together the best squad they can for each year on a season-by-season basis, so hard-working, refined grade cricket guns who are legitimately amongst the best players in the country like Moran will be increasingly contracted and rewarded. I love that. Clark on the boil with that early.

Played a bit against him years ago.

He's just a good, solid player tbh. I think he's played for Sydney Uni (bad taste, but hey) during a number of premiership wins and the bloke is just a contributor. It just shows what these blokes who can't jag a spot are capable of if they get a gig.

literally can't wait to see what happens re player movement and what not. reckon we might see a few state coaches not coach that states bigbash team. I of course reckon that because I feel it just allows for greater independence and therefore should happen.
