how'd you go in your T20 today? Did you play?
Played like a ******. Out for a duck, bowled some absolute toss.

Fielded well though - two run outs. Really should give up and become a 'Fielding only' option.

We won though, so I guess that's okay. A bit hard when I haven't played in over a month to come back and expect to pick up where I left off I suppose.

I don't know what to think of Shingi doing well. Lots of people say he's improved so it's good to see some evidence of that, but equally I don't want him in the team for the Test and he may have just played himself into it.

Me too, but it's no secret Streak and Butch want some real pace something Shingi has and Meth doesn't, so we could see Meth missing out again.

I personally think Meth should be Mpofu's direct replacement since he has more control. On the other hand Shingi should be challenging one of Vitori or Jarvis as all three are more or less front line wicket takers. So Vitori and Meth should take the new ball with KJ as first change and Elton can be the fourth seamer IMO

From memory he becomes eligible early April. So he'll most likely find himself on the plane to the West Indies if he's in reasonable form at the time.

NZ doing our traditional 'let the opposition tail wag' trick. Currently 71 runs for the final wicket.

TV1 news described today as "embarassing" for the NZ XI. Think a lot of people over here are seriously underestimating Zim. Afterall they walloped Bangladesh, fared a lot better against Pakistan than the current world number 1's and came heart breakingly close to beating us a few months ago. Reckon there could be a couple more embarassing days before the tour is over.

Considering it's a sort of second XI if you take away Vettori, Taylor and Williamson, even a minnow Zimbabwe should be competitive with it.

Michael Bracewell dropped a few catches from what I heard on the radio, along with getting a duck. Not a memorable game yet for him.
