someone post clarke's stats since retiring from intl t20don't forget the aus t20 is a curse so who better to suffer the curse than white?
Still deserves a spot in the Shield team TBH. I don't understand your gripe with him, close to the most consistent spinner in Australia over the past 5 years. Why is McGain even in any domestic competition with his age and skill level? I can never forget his test (or should I say 't20i') debut.
If, in a domestic competition, 2 wickets at an average of 53.5 with an economy rate of 11.06 can place him in the top 20 spinners in Australia, then our spinning pool is beyond shallow.because he's still one of the top 20 spinners in the country and with 8 teams + 2-4 spinners in each team....he should still be playing for vic instead of jon 'i'm crap' holland
I don't harbour any ill toward the man, but because he warrants shield selection, doesn't mean he should play in t20. His style of bowling doesn't suit it, partly because shield =/= big bash.Still deserves a spot in the Shield team TBH. Without checking his statistics, McGain has been one of the best Twenty20 spinners in this country. Not a great record thus far in 11/12, however worth selection based on prior record and form in the futures league.I don't harbour any ill toward the man, but because he warrants shield selection, doesn't mean he should play in t20. He's always been crap in every format and always will beeeeeeeeeeeeee [/rampage]Without checking his statistics, McGain has been one of the best Twenty20 spinners in this country. Not a great record thus far in 11/12, however worth selection based on prior record and form in the futures league.
Reckon he would've played when we debuted Patterson if he was tbh. What's the story with David Dawson? Is he seriously a chance of playing state cricket again?
