Those bashing Misbah and showing extreme disappointment in Pakistan’s position – you do realize we’re playing the top side in the world right? It was never going to be easy; they aren’t going to fold. Yes, we could have a bigger lead and a better position, but I would’ve taken being 100 ahead at the start of the match when we lost the toss.

There's a reason why Misbah is the captain of our team. And you are a random internet poster. - He knows more.
The people criticising Misbah really have no grasp of how demoralising it would have been for England to get to stumps having only taken 5 wickets all day and facing the prospect of Misbah grinding them down further tomorrow. It might not be pretty and might not have blazed a massive lead for Pakistan, but had Misbah survived the day then his effort would have paid massive dividends on days 4 and 5.

If he'd scored his runs quicker then all it would have meant is that England would have broken into the tail quicker and might even be batting again. Ideally Misbah would have scored more, but give me a 50 scored at a snail's pace like today's innings over a flashy 20 or 30 any day of the week.
How much do you guys think Pakistan would be able to chase successfully in the 4th innings?

Oh and I forgot to mention his geniuses with the team selection.
Muhammad Talha troubled the English batsmen with his raw speed on this road and he is sitting in reserves at the age of 23 while a 32 years old Aizaz Cheema tries to build his career.
Wahab Riaz has quite a lot of pace with reverse, Umar Gul, who is in the worst form of his life has been given preference over him.
Junaid Khan? I really do not need to mention.

To sum it up, he picked up the worst fast bowlers in the squad for this test.
Abdur Rehman was a terrible decision. Problem is most people have a short term memory and they see 191 all out and think wow Misbah well done. Rehman is not going to be a threat for a top quality side.. You need bowlers like Riaz and Junaid who have the potential, who have troubled the top batsmen in the world and if they are fit, there is no reason to not pick them.

Handy lead this.

I'd say a par score for Pakistan to chase in the 4th innings would be 230, imo.

So, at this stage, England will need to score at least 350. Big ask.

Adnan looks a useful player, solid if unspectacular. Looks more reliable than his brothers.

Spark - He is doing fine, just needs to get the balance between attack/defence right. He batted well yesterday and is doing ok today.

If Pakistan can cobble together a lead of 150 plus here, they shouldn't lose the match.

Radio saying the ball is swinging a bit this morning. Is that so?

Kamran Akmal is actually a much better batsman than Adnan..the only reason he managed to play for that long is because the think tank whether rightly or wrongly felt that they need an extra batsman.

He was trying to smash every second ball over extra cover for four/six. Not intelligent batting.
