Spain's dominance in Davis Cup tennis over the last 4 years is something to behold, but surely they won't win next year with Nadal announcing he won't be playing. Brings them right back to the pack.

Margaret Court, eh. Good on her, it's this time of year where we have to hear elderly people giving ignorant close-minded views of the world, and she's just done it in a more global way, instead of around the xmas table after a few sherries.

does anyone take her seriously? she is obviously a religious nut but maybe senility is also a factor...:)

Mardy Fish had a horror week in Perth at the Hopman Cup.

Absolutely lost the plot throwing a temper tantrum vs. Dimitrov both in the singles and mixed doubles match, and then got aced by Wozniacki in the mixed doubles as well.

Anyone see Roddick's interview today? Absolutely hilarious. What a beautiful, arrogant man.

Gonna go watch my boy Juan Martin Del Potro destroy Baghdatis tonight at the Sydney International.

Will then see him again beat Djokovic to win the Australian Open when I attend the final.

Watching the Mofils vs Tomic match aws.

Some ****ing horrible line umpiring going on.

Tomic hit one that was called out and Mofils conceded the point because it was so clearly in.

Then the next game Mofils hit one that was called out and Tomic walked and conceded the point because it was in by miles.

On a different, but much more important point, does anyone know if my boi L00ch is back this year?

Nah Morgie.

Baghdatis played well. Was good viewing.

Some of the Cyprus fans really have no respect for the game sometimes. Most are good fun and just chant and enjoy themselves but I've seen three Baghdatis matches in my time now and there's always one or two who yell during the points. JMDP cracked it when they yelled twice during set point, and the umpire actually specifically mentioned the Cyprus fans in his warning.

JMDP seemed disinterested after he went a break down in the 2nd though, has bigger fish to fry in Melbourne.

The Sydney International is a joke nowadays in terms of who they get for the men's draw. Very few big names at all. This year's semis is pathetic. Benneteau, Niemenen and Istomin? Really?

They really need to get a bigger cash prize because Rafa, Roger and Novak are more than happy to do their warm-ups in Abu Dhabi and Qatar and earn a bucket load just by appearing.

Yeah but the organisers care. I'm not saying the city or fans are at fault for no one good coming. I am saying the organisers need to up their game.

For the record, Sydney International gets pretty good crowds. Would get better crowds if the courts weren't out in the jungle.
