My XI may be a distance from the best here, but I love it.
It's an awesome batting lineup tbf and decent bowling attack.

Quite happy with this team even with the sheep. Honestly, Depeiaza at 6 is my only weakness.

2. Archie Jackson
3. George Challenor
4. Kenny Barrington
5. Graham Thorpe
6. John Reid
7. Jock Cameron+
8. Frank Foster
9. Bruce Taylor
10. Harold Larwood
11. Muttiah Muralitharan

Twelfthers Paul Harris

Jardine, Jackson, Barrington, Reid, Foster, Larwood and Murali are seven of my favourite cricketers of all time so I'm delighted with this side even if it is short on superstars - a sentence about each

Jardine - the best captain the game has known and a fine batsman
Jackson - had he lived and/or ever been fully fit might have eclipsed even Bradman
Challenor - not his fault he was 40 before his country got Test status - first great Windies batter
Barrington - career average a mere 58.67 over 82 Tests
Thorpe - if only he hadn't kept getting out when set
Reid - was New Zealand cricket for the best part of 20 years
Cameron - class keeper, class bat
Foster - the man who would have been the greatest all round cricketer ever had his career not ended at 25
Taylor - underrated allrounder
Larwood - greatest fast bowler ever and a class number 10
Murali - no introduction required

1. Sid Barnes (AUS) See: http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/cricket-chat/55056-sid-barnes-turnstile-hurdler-other-stories.html FC HS: 234
2. Gary Kristen (SA) All Time Great Opener. Will double as coach which he just so happens to be just as great at. He managed to make India number 1 in the world ffs. FC HS: 275
3. Tom Hayward (ENG) According to Wisden, 'was one of the greatest batsmen of all time'. High praise indeed. When has Wisden been wrong. FC HS: 315*
4. Allan Border (C) (AUS) Doubles as back up spinner too. Does your number 2 spinner have an 11 wicket haul in a test match? FC HS: 205
5. Ian Bell (ENG) Best batsman in the world currently. FC HS: 262*
6. Aubrey Faulkner (SA) A leg spinner with a bowling average below 30 and batting average above 40. Suck it. FC HS: 204
7. Denis Lindsay (+) (SA) Scored 8000 runs in a series once. Would have doubled it if he ever got to play in more than one series again. FC HS: 216
8. Kapil Dev (IND) It's frickin Kapil Dev. FC HS: 193
9. Mike Procter (SA) 41 test wickets in 7 matches. 1417 FC wickets at 19. FC HS: 254
10. Azhar Mahmood (Pak) Played a top 10 innings of all time. Not a bad little seamer. Obviously he won't have to do much with Dev and Procter in the team. FC HS: 204*
11. Dodger Whysall (ENG) Scored 24 FC tons in his last 3 seasons before dying from dancing too hard. Could also keep. FC HS: 248

12th man. Hamilton Masakadza (ZIM) By all reports a good drinks carrier. FC HS: 208*

Good luck bowling me out ****ers. Bowling may seem to be lacking but it's not.

Yeah definetly not the best side but considering I had **** all fast bowlers going to the last 3 questions I am pretty happy with that, no really bad players, Fleming and Phillips certainly not the worst sheep to get.

Most of the line up probably a place to high in the batting order, but it's got the makings of a very good seam attack.

If only I could've got some reasonable players as opposed to ridiculous sheep

1. Barry Richards
4. Frank Worrell
5. Ranji
8. Richie Benaud
9. Anil Kumble
10. Bob Willis
11. George Lohmann
is a solid base

Amazing side although Reg Sinfield ruins it a bit. With Lindwall, Ambrose, Botham and Swann, you wouldn't need his bowling and definitely not his batting either. Lindwall can arguably bat higher than him. Waste of a spot though.
