Good ball but VVS and Michal Vaughan do have a habit of providing eye popping clean bowled moments. As for your second statement yes its possible Umer Gul was bowling quite a few of those with the new ball during the recent series with SL
VVS will often be a top of off bowled candidate, or perceived candidate, because he's so good at turning balls from middle and off through the leg side. So by closing the face of his bat just that little bit, it provides less area for the ball to hit and slightly exposes the off peg.

Takes a bloody high quality ball to do it to him when he's 50+ though.

It seems like another 4-0 on the cards for India. The body language looking really down.

I have noticed some thing about Dhoni. That he is actually beginning to give some credit to the opposition

It is with regret we announce that after a long illness which it was believed the animal contracted during its recent visit to England, that Indian Test Cricket has now died in Australia.

The cause of death was stated to be ''old age'' - however, given that even an autopsy is not being called for, the most likely reason is indifference.
The body will be lefty to rot in the hope that it will be reincarnated for one day in the future.

Amen

Pattinson out of series with a foot injury. Might explain his bowling over the last two days.

Rather ****, tbh.

So that should see Lyon's spot safe.

Or at least **** I hope it does, because otherwise we'll be bowling Mitch Starc against them, and... yeah.

He was off the field for a long time after his second new ball spell today. Came back on but didn't bowl again. Makes sense now.

He was meant to be an outside chance for the 3rd Test... we'll see.
He hasn't bowled a ball though, since SA. Still think they'll run with four quicks in Perth. Starc and Hilf into the breeze, the Jag and Siddle down wind.
