Really should be out of it by now, still the Suarez suspension going to make thigs very difficult, Bellamy going to be very important the next couple of months.
Only makes it harder in terms of squad tiredness. Performance wise he hasn't really done owt except miss a shedload of chances, fall over a lot and racially abuse other players.

Why would Bellamy start on the bench? :( Dalglish's team selection baffles me more often than not.

Expecting to be soundly beaten. Would take a point LIKE THAT

So in Liverpool's opinion Suarez was up on nonsense charges, yet they've opted not to appeal?

Stay classy.

I've just put this on Facebook:

As a Liverpool fan tbh I'm glad we've finally accepted the ban. Suarez' has obviously acted like a racist idiot and deserves a ban. I'm sick of the club playing the martyr and claiming to be hard done by. 'The word is generally acceptable in Suarzez' part of uruguay' Yeah, well there's parts of America where the word 'N*****' is considered acceptable. But it's still a vile word. The only reason Liverpool have 'stood by him' is because they have so much invested in them. I've never been more pissed off with the club. Ok, rant over...

Commentators having themselves on when they say City don't deserve their lead. It's called taking your chances, and it wins you games.

Please get Bellamy, Gerrard and maybe Maxi on asap.

Did Liverpool really have to choose Citeh to gift two ridiculously soft goals to? Those moments aside they've been playing pretty well.

Um... think you'll find this has happened very often this season. Play lovely passing football, build up pressure, don't finish, get frustrated, gift a goal. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Heart City. <3 Deserved three points.

EDIT: Henderson trying to contest with Yaya brought the lolz. Also, Barry.

Be great if City win the League just for Liam topping his FA Cup Final interviews from last year

Not to mention Carrick up against Yakubu- spent the whole game standing off and letting him hold up the ball because he's a massive ***** and scared of his pace, and yet still managed to **** up and let him in behind for Blackburn's second.

Championship 'keeper, too. I'm sick of hearing how good De Gea was in Spain, haven't the United fans with better self-delusionary power than me noticed that we're not ****ing in ****ing Spain? He's the footballing equivalent of an Indian batsman- only looks good at home because the ball never gets over waist height. And we've got a keeper that's been rock-solid every single time he's played sitting on the bench scratching his hole.

But there's definitely no need to put Rooney or Giggs on the bench just in case something goes wrong, oh no. We have a total rookie to bring on in an emergency that can lie down on the other team's goal line just in case we're in any danger of equalising. ****ing ****.
So you're criticising him for not adapting seamlessly to facing guys like Samba and Yakubu coming from a totally different league? 8-)

Lindegaard has paid tribute to Steele for taking apart his game and making him better. Would assume we're doing that with De Gea. He's got potential to be a world class keeper but not there yet.

Saying that though, would I prefer Lindegaard starting over him? Yes for now. Better keeper atm.

Ah, love watching De Gea, Carrick, Welbeck and Hernandez all have ****ing 'mares. Not much pisses me off more than how much hot air United fans are prepared to blow up their arses.
Carrick's not a CB though so not sure what you're on about. Pretty much every game he's played in CM he's been good this season.

Hernandez is simply a poacher right now. Get him service and he'll score. Apart from that he's not up to much. Needs to improve other areas of his game if he's to continue playing. Defenders have adapted to him so he needs to add more to his game.

Lol, "failed to adapt seamlessly". Truthfully I don't think anyone in the league has a worse first-choice keeper and he's probably behind more than a few Championship keepers too.

Pros:
-Cost lots of money
-Rumoured to have been a good keeper once upon a time in a faraway land where keeping requires an entirely different skillset
-Has "potential", in the same way that anyone anywhere can get better at anything
-Good on FIFA
-Reasonably nice hair

Cons:
-At around the same level when handling crosses as a fully-committed Margaret Thatcher
-Frequently makes huge mistakes in all other areas of the game- see Charity Shield, West Brom, Benfica, Basle, just off the top of my head
-Is terrible at playing the ball out from the back, completely contrary to what everyone was expecting
-Can't speak English and hence has zero ability to organise the defence

You don't half talk some **** when it comes to United roseboy but at least you give the occasional good excuse for a rant.

Dalglish not exactly a smooth operator. Wish the press officer hadn't intervened, Dalglish was digging himself a huge hole.

Exactly how good is Luka Modric?

I understand his main asset is his build-up passing, but the fact is he only has one goal (what a goal :() and three assists this season.

He's obviously quality, but personally I don't think he's in the elite of the Premier League, which is where his reputation seems to lay atm.

Might be because (as you seem very keen to point out when Downing is slagged off for doing the square root of **** all all season) it's about more than just the goals and assists.

The fact that he hasn't scored any goals or many assists only highlights further the fact that statistics can more often than not be the first refuge of scoundrels. Granted, I myself am guilty of this with that stat I dug up about Downing the other day.

The guy's quality though, his movement and vision is great. Clearly has a lot of intelligence when it comes to how he reads the game. I'd be very interested to see how many times he has completed the pass to a player who has then be credited with the assist (the assist for the assist if you will), I imagine he'd have a decent tally.

Though they're quite different players, the only player of similar type who is of comparable ability (in the Premiership anyway) is David Silva. And that's a pretty big compliment tbh. Really great player to watch in any case.
