NUFAN

EDIT: Changed it before sending after reading NUFAN's last post. Should give me a better chance.
Haha. Surprised you changed your mind after what I wrote. I mean, most people who play 90 Tests are pretty good and it's natural to think that a few awesome ones made it through the round..

Damn you Neil!:@
My one consolation is the fact that I'm matching with you suggests I'm getting the idea now. I originally had Border as my pick for round 9, then I discovered he had had a 300 partnership as well. On the plus side, I now have an opening partnership sorted out.

Some pretty awesome Cricketers were successfully chosen for round 9! I wonder how many players from round 8 will make their teams final XI's..
I was slightly perturbed to discover that two of the best picks from that round (Houghton, Parker) were already in my team... I think I've got a quality player out of it, though, as his Test record is misrepresentative of his ability.

I decided that the chances of getting the player I wanted were exceptionally low so I figured I would aim a bit lower just to get a pass since I can't afford too many more sheep.

Nothing wrong with having a team full of experience. I agree about the player you selected.

Yeah, it's sound logic but I don't think what I said should be taken for anything really. 8-)

Haha wow! I'm not surprised I got 7, but I'm really surprised I got 8 and 9. I could only think of one other person I could pick for question 8 or 9.

Said to myself I'd take one. Risked it on Bradman and Ironmonger, but at least I stopped others getting them. :p

So good to get such a good batsman in round 9 as well.

Mine might as I don't have any other players like him (yet)

Also how many questions are we doing?

Edit: 12.

Suspect I set my sights too low on 9 but I got a personal favourite

Delighted to get such an underrated player for 8

As for 7 I should have thought about who else was in this - wouldn't be surprised if we're locked together again either

Pretty happy with that, got a player I really like for various reasons for number 8 although may not play in the unlikely case of not getting another sheep.

Delighted with 7.
