Haha I tried once before but she wouldn't let me because they were friends. She hasn't spoken to him for ages now though so I may be able to talk her into it.

EDIT: @Spikey-request

Yesss Skyrimmington.

That was g00d for Brisbane. ****ing terrible innings. Off to r00t Summer Hoyland on Ramsay St.

Side on shot of Coulter-Nile there was very John Aloisi ftr
Which means his destiny is to take a match wining catch on the last ball of a super over to qualify the Perth for the CL for the first time in 3.2 years and then rip off his shirt and go nuts.

Weird innings from DC. Such a strong hitter and seemed obsessed with the ghey ramp shot.

If Heat wants a chance of winning a game they need someone like Christian at the top to get more time with the bat. Hayden is playing too conservatively which, while still nice to watch, isn't really suited to the top. Needs to hit out or get out imo.

It was so obviously tactical as well. Both Lehmann and Hayden spoke heaps about saving wickets for the end but frankly when you've got eight wickets to use in four overs or whatever, none of those batsmen are going to be able to get set at all. Coming in and slapping quick runs right from the start is a lot harder than it seems so I think going a bit harder up front and in the middle than they did today would be wise. Sometimes it's just easier said than done because the bowling is good up front etc etc but it was just so obviously tactical today and those tactics were poor.

It was exactly the same last game too. Very few shots over the infield.

May as well go hard early when the field is up and try and keep the run rate under control. For a weak batting lineup they are heaping way too much pressure on themselves in the last 5 overs.

Doesn't help that Lynn is in atrocious form and the two Kiwis aren't available but they've still got some capable batsmen there.

It's weird. No matter who Christian has played for in 50 or 20 over domestic cricket he's been left to bat too late in the innings. Especially 20 over stuff. Brisbane need to bat him number 3. They've just completely killed their own season by having their highest paid player and trump card watching ordinary domestic players score less than a run a ball and leaving him too much.
