To be fair having seen him bat in England against the new ball it was fairly predictable.

Totally agree. This is spineless batting. Here we have Ishant on one side batting out 50 balls and the middle order does **** all.

The difference is that Haddin has the game to bat a lot better than he does. Dhoni doesn't.

Amazing what a bit of form and confidence does, he looked a beaten bowler after brisbane last year and the figures showed it.

And, let's face it, Ishant's looked fairly comfortable in general. Faced some top bowling, evaded the short ones well, still there. Nothing wrong with the deck or conditions.
