Given the maximum fine's a teensy fraction of what he earns in a day tho, is there any mileage in it?
Could try negotiating a basis of plea and reduce the adverse publicity - Miss Whiplash certainly used to be a headline seeking loose cannon and I'd stake a lot of money on her not liking footballers - gave one of my clients an outrageous football banning order once - was well happy when she forked off back down the M4

So if he gets a ban of 8-10 games which comes in from around mid Feb then he will be going into Euro 2012 (if picked) with virtually no match practice. Could/would Capello drop him completely?

Lol. They're behaving in a manner that a sulky teenager would consider unnecessarily stroppy.

Mind you, "sarcastic ****" is Dalglish's default interview mode, so it's going to be hard to tell if he's making a point or not.

BARNES OUT
I always find it humourous when commentators made bold statements about whether offside calls are wrong/right then when they're proven pattently false soon after. The subtle attempts to backtrack with pathetic cliche's like "oh but it was marginal, you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking team." etc etc.

Shutup **** you said he was offside but got away with it less than a minute ago.

If Moses had scored that we could have closed the goal of the season competition there and then.

Classy. Real classy.

Um... what's wrong with that? Understand your problem if it was a picture of Evra captioned by KILL ALL BLACKIES, but surely this is just a team solidarity thing?

Not sure what I think of how Liverpool handle themselves in the public eye. I admire the emotion and passion, but it comes off as largely unprofessional.

A couple of 20-related PL records tonight, if that's your thing:

1. Marcus Albrighton has just scored the 20,000th Premier League goal. Otherwise known as the 20,000th goal since August 1992.

2. Ryan Giggs has now scored in all 20 Premier League seasons.

AWTA.

Couple of observations from tonight's game:

Jordan Henderson is a bit ****.

Gary Caldwell is still a moon-headed moron.

Great point for Wigan, well deserved too.

The two Manchester clubs still looking in a class all by themselves.
