What do you think of Virat Kohli?

With his ton in the tour game, Kohli has secured his spot at #6 for Boxing Day (should never have been in doubt but nevertheless).

Can't wait.

Apart from the fact he looks like a bit of a nob (facial expression etc etc), I've been big a fan of his batting from day 1 & thought it was criminal he never got a crack at Test cricket in the English series, especially considering how England's bowlers absolutely murdered India's batsmen.

Of all the Indian players in this Australian series, I'm most exciting about Kohli & Ashwin. The other player I've always had a bit of a soft-spot for is Rohit Sharma, but I highly doubt he'll find a spot unless there's an injury in the top order.

Apart from the four times he got out to a short one in the Windies, yes. No truth in it at all.

Guarantee you now he won't be getting much in his half come Boxing Day.
got out once to short pitch bowling. He had trouble with short pitch bowling but that could be attributed to 1st series jitters considering in ODIs, he has shown to be quite adept at fending off whatever is thrown his way (home or away).

No it wasn't 4 times. He got out 5 times in that series and two were driving outside off so I'm not sure how you can say he was out 4 times to the short ball

And you're including gloving them down legside which is totally different to getting out at short leg. Unless you are saying Kohli got bounced out by Darren Sammy.

If all they do is bowl short to him it will be a mistake.
Genuine nicker, though.
Yes, yes he is.

And if Australia's bowling coaching staff have half a brain they will test him outside off consistently. That will be his undoing. Not short bowling.

expecting this to be his breakthrough series he's well on his way to be a top 5 odi bat off alltime and I believe he's good enough to be a top 15-20 test batsman aswell.

haha...no I don't jerk off at the sight off him he comes across quite a douche but I do think h'e the best young batsman in the world hence the high praise.
