Maxwell!
Over 20.4: Maxwell to Gambhir, no run, OUT, hits catch straight to extra cover! India 2/74 (20.4 overs) Sachin Tendulkar is the new batsman
Taste it Gambhir.

This kid Tendulkar, they've got big wraps on him apparently.

haha, so completely not serious. Bolly would be the leftie next in line, you'd think.

A guy who I played with a couple of years back always tells the story about how he played for NSW Country against India when they toured back then. Tendulkar was a member of the touring Indian squad.

You'd fit right into a NSW ****ry side, tbh.

Hard to read from ball-by-ball, but it seems other than Rahane (who shouldn't play you'd think, unless one of Gambhir or Sehwag get hurt), the guys that will play on Boxing Day are getting a decent hit. Again, it goes both ways in these tour games, so good performances are just as meaningless as bad performances (generally, sometimes you can read things but not often). But the main thing they need is time at the crease.

Would like one of them to get a big score rather than 30s or 40s, but it seems like they are going okay.

Laxman, Dravid and Sachin have been in the country for a while anyway so they have less of a jetlag excuse compared to the other blokes.
