Wow. Will the Indian attack lift their game in the real games or will it be the bowling performance like that in England?

Think you can take precisely nothing from this as a form guide tbh. Sharma got injured early and the test of the blokes haven't bowled much here before, if at all.

Fair enough.

And why is Rohit Sharma bowling?

and how did Sharma get injured in the first tour match?

Anyone else thinking we should pick Cooper? As SA knows, you always pick him against NSW and it seems we can add India!

India adamant Sharma is not injured

Sharma was forced from Manuka Oval twice in the opening session, and hasn’t made it back after failing to complete his sixth over.

Mystery still surrounds exactly what, if anything, is wrong with Sharma, but either way the Indian camp doesn’t appear to be particularly worried about the health of one of their front-line quicks.

The Indian team manager said the reason why Sharma was forced to abandon an over was because strapping on his ankle had come loose.

He insisted the reason the 23-year-old still hadn’t returned is because he was only slated to bowl six overs in the first of two practice matches for the Indians in Canberra.

The team’s media manager said there was no injury.

Another member of the support staff said the quick's interrupted day had more to do with the team’s hectic last 24 hours - they arrived in Canberra after 3am on Wednesday and attended the Sir Donald Bradman Oration function that evening.
Hope what they are saying is true, dont want to see a repeat of injury fiasco that we saw at Lords

At least the two first XI bowlers seem to have done decently. Mithun was always going to be ineffective. Ojha's economy is shocking.
