Again, I'm not saying the posting in this thread has been flash, but there's no rule that says you can't poke fun at players.

There is a rule that says you can't poke fun at other players as a proxy for having a dig at other posters, ofc, because that's trolling, and of course everyone should be aware of the difference.

I am.. and I think some of the guys involved here have crossed that line a number of times, esp. in this thread... They are just being the anti-Indian precams here.

Even without comparing to Ishant, he is a very decent bowler who lacks pace but has the ability to get the ball to move both ways.

My point was the opposite. I feel action should be taken even when it is not forced, when the trolling/baiting is this obvious.

Frankly speaking, I don't have any problem about making fun of Harbhajan Singh. But calling him a racist cheat is just not on, because that is plain incorrect.

Moderation is required (or 'forced', as you have rather erroneously put it) when rules are broken. If you are insisting moderators should throw their weight around and intervene in things when there are no infringement of the rules then I'd like to hear why. IMO This multi accusation is the most tiresome thing on the site.

AFAIK Vbulletin automatically identifies multis - still some members feel the need to play Sherlock.

If people are going to get this precious about Harbhajan getting fun poked at him then we might as well not bother having a forum for the next couple of months.

I'll wager that the most trolling post in this thread (if we're regarding such posts as trolling) hasn't been reported, because the person doing the complaining is more interested in picking a fight with his fellow posters with his usual straw man arguments, and throwing in a bit of victim mentality thrown in for good measure.

If this place isn't going to turn to total crap over the next couple of months then people need to develop a sense of humour about threads like this and save their complaining for when it's actually merited.
