I love this fightback, but we have 40 runs too few and the wicket has always played easier after lunch. Warner will be there at the end.

I'm backing Langer to turn Ponting, Hussey and Hughes around for Melbourne.

Keep Watson and Marsh on ice.

The way Warner's batting sorta puts paid to the idea that playing at the top level of any form of cricket other than Tests is meaningless for Test success. Most newbs wouldn't have the gumption to keep playing their shots while the team crumbled around them like this. Batting like a seasoned pro, as opposed to Khawaja who looks sorta overawed.

We don't have enough. Flat wicket after lunch + these two should be enough. We still have to get through that **** Siddle.

Too little & too late for us. Seen it sooooo many times before. One of Haddin or Siddle will make an arsey 40 and get them home.

On the plus side, 5 wickets is the least wickets lost pre-lunch in this Test.

But it really should have been two.

At least Bracewell has put his hand up for future tests. In this spell he has been asking question after question.
