Very encouraging signs from Pattinson today, still getting wickets on a pitch that has flattened out.
i wouldnt be confident its flattened out. ausy are bowling with a 60+ over old ball. the new ball may still move around. 5 for 40 and the aussies will struggle to get 200

The middle overs are the part of his game he is gonna need to work on the most I reckon. He is already a pretty damn good new ball bowler, just needs to work his consistency up when he bowls long spells when the wicket is flat.

Taylor fought hard but always looked horrible. So many half volleys bunted straight to fielders. All we can hope for now is a couple of annoying 25 run partnerships and another aussie capitulation. But I think this one might be gone already.

Australia bowled woefully, this morning they've proven that is was just the areas they bowled yesterday that let them down.
Pitch would be more moist this morning though, and the conditions have looked slightly more overcast than they did yesterday when the sun was coming out. Has also been better bowling though, undoubtedly.
