Kruger is qualified, Wagner isn't.
@ Brumby: Not sure tbh, since I haven't seen much of Kruger van Wyk keeping. In thhe 20/20 comp last year which is televised, his keeping was pretty dodgy but then guys like Heef say he can use his gloves.
Young was touted as the best pure keeper at the time, and has batted as high as number three domestically with success, so I can see why he got the gig.

Very good point. This wicket is although very difficult to move forward on due to the pitch adding to the movement. However, footwork of players has diminished due to the assistance for batsmen in higher quality bats. I'm 37 and picked up a new bat only a year ago. I haven't played competitive cricket since the 90s and I couldn't believe how light the bats are nowadays.

The pitch has flattened out at the end Siddle is bowling from, but unflattened out at Pattinson's end.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to the pitch if Siddle changes ends.

Was under the impression that Van Wyk was more of a McGlashan-type unorthodox batsman tbh.
