***Official*** New Zealand in Australia 2011

What do peeps think is the minimum lead that makes NZ the favourites here?

Gotta say, even though most of it is probably due to the old ball, I do think the pitch itself had flattened a bit. Grass cover must be getting pretty thin now.
I think a lead of 250 would be very competitive.

Yeah, 250 I say is a bare minimum.

Is that to be favorites or to have a chance at all?

I say, under 200, and we'll most likely lose, 200-250 and it'll be a tight finish, 250+ and we'll be in control.

After that quick first innings, there's no way this match will be drawn unless more than entire day of play gets washed out.

Obviously depends entirely on what happens with the pitch. If it stays the same or even deteriorates then 260+ should see NZ as favourites.

250 and I would say it's 50:50.

Really doubt it will deteriorate. Think it will only get easier to bat on unless conditions become really overcast (which is a decent chance tbh given the forecast).

The Hobart pitch was green, but the batsman who got out from two sides know that poor selection of shots has led their down fall. It is very reckless cricket from Australia after seeing an Innings of Kiwis from the field, getting bowled out scoring 150 they should have been careful and clever in going for shots. Lack of application from top and middle order of Aussie batsman in their first Innings. I am sorry to say this but if Bangladesh's 135 score is Reckless then what about Aussie score which is 136? One run ahead. 47 runs all out and 136 runs..the stats says it all that Bangladesh would have played well in this conditions. Hopeless cricket by Australia. Need to show some application mates, you are talented Aussies, just show application.
Bangladesh fans are amazing.
