Good appeal that, I called it out. Not sure why the umpire was so dismissive.

Expected a stronger appeal for the LBW. Looked very close live, and the visual shows it was hitting.

Well he was a lot closer to nicking them than middling them....

My point is that if he gets out to one of those shots and there's a debate about whether he's got the qualities of a test opener, and whether he should be playing those sorts of shots on this sort of wicket.

I accept he's looking pretty comfortable against Martin.

Beautiful stuff from Marto. Warner was looking good and thought our last two overs had been a little less impressive than the first couple. Really good ball that - did just enough.
