Can confirm this other than the golf courses. Just got back. If you're into nature go to Mount Field. Mount Wellington is also fantastic on a clear day. Absolutely loved the place.
The weather was absolutely magnificent too

Hughes needs to be sent back to domestic cricket and made to work on his technique. He is 23 and time is on his side

The problem with that idea is that he already scores truckloads in domestic with his current technique, it's difficult to know if anything's changed.

Not many other options, tbh.

County championship, perhaps?

Only 2 overs from Boult, but what were the first impressions?

Could actually be a blessing in disguise that Vettori was injured. He already got his 50-plus score for the series and it is not like this would be his type of pitch, anyway.

Maybe a season in English county cricket would help then. The ball moves around quite a bit and going for everything outside off stump is a recipe for disaster

Listening to radiosport talkback for the first time in a while. The topics were NZ vs Aussie in the cricket and Hockey, and the V8 Supercars.

First call from someone called Aman: "Hello I want to talk about Sehwag's 219."

:laugh:Brilliant!

Third caller, also Indian, talking about Sehwag.

Jeez, radiosport has changed a bit in the few years since I listened. They've gone from angry old blowhards to cricinfo comments.

What if Cricket Australia make him sign for a team who's home wicket swings and seams 90 degrees? Surely if he had to play half his shield innings at the W.A.C.A he'd have to change his technique or suffer the consequences. NB: I don't know where he plays right now so this post might be moot.
