Why not he was born in Perth, was an Australian for a number of years and is a failed Australian state cricketer?
It just sounds like sour grapes.

How easy must Pattinson think test cricket is. Last time he bowled for Victoria in FC cricket he went at over 4.37 runs an over took one wicket as Western Australia chased down 363 in the 4th innings.
