Yeah, really pissed off by these idiots now. About as clever as chucking bricks into random houses.
Turns out they direct the people whose websites they've vandalised to their forum, where they list "vunerable websites" to provoke. And also beg for donations on the front page, because they're classy like that.

Okay, fixed that now. Finally. Once I changed the name of index.php and garrrrr.php and it still did the same thing, I figured out what the issue was. 
Now I need to close the loophole so they can't do it again.
