Test teams in your order of preference?

I think you've made a mistake there mate, you've got Oz ranked 3, that can't be right. Any self respecting Englishman would have them as low as they can go.
:p I guess because I only got into cricket in 2004 I didn't go through much of their glory days. In fact due to not having sky sports I didn't really start following international cricket until early 2008, by which time their era was practically gone. Felt kinda sorry for them after the Ashes as well. When people were starting to crucify them. Got a few players I like as well.

Not really that patriotic though anyway.

How come, is it to do with the spot-fixing for Pakistan? What have the Windies done to make someone lose respect? And there are still some good guys like Younis, Misbah, Sammy, Bravo, Chandepaul.

I would imagine in Pakistan's case it's the needless controversy and other associated nonsense that swarms around them like a pack of flies round a particularly ripe, fresh turd.

West Indies I'd imagine because their side is full of ****s like Bravo, Sarwan, Gayle and Pollard who can't be bothered lifting their game to decent standards.

Yeah, but there are some good guys, like Younis for instance, or what about Gul or Misbah. I mean they are quite respected in cricket, especially Younis. Can't say that there isn't a single respectable figure.

Like Australia a bit too much these days to be honest.
Changed quite a bit in just a year for me, all much of muchness for me now.

Sri Lanka are just a bit too **** in test cricket now for me to enjoy watching them.

Could still not exactly I am in anyway a fan of South Africa but they do have my favourite collection of players outside England.

This was done before the whole spot fixing thing but the current Pakistan side is not at all dislikable.

India now last and still like Australia far too much.

The Tiger King

India down in eighth for the reasons you'd expect. Cricketers lifted up to superstar status on the basis of very little. Too many new cricketers that are slap-happy batsmen or uninspiring bowlers. Their board combining vicious bullying, dick-swinging, in-fighting and incompetence into some sort of huge, permanantly confused dog that constantly humps everything. Getting too bloody good at one-day cricket, and then having people act like I should care about it. It's a good job we owned them this summer or I might have an actual problem with them.

Bangladesh just in the pack, but ninth. I would have called them my second favourite side a year ago, I was one of these misguided idealists firmly in the "Bangladesh aren't ****" camp for a long time and was finally starting to see some progress. Since then it's been moving backwards, and vastly worse than that is a mindset of not trying that's been seen time and time again. I wash my hands of them.

-----------Irrational-Line------------

Australia last. They're Australia ffs
.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

such a gun post. Really lol'd at the above.

India have some absolute guns (Dravid ), their **** quotient has been dramatically cut now that Sreesanth, Harbhajan and Yuvraj have all been given the boot, and some of you guys are all right I guess.
Quite agree with you. India seem so much more likeable without these characters.

My current ranking would be.

Pakistan (despite all the crap they have committed over the last year or so. It is like a mother's love for her child. Unconditional)

England (for jailing the likes of Amir, Asif and Butt)/Australia(usually like their never say die spirit unless it stretches for a decade or so)/SA/
India(have come up the ranking now that bhajji and sree are out :p)Sri Lanka (they should have been a rank above except for the fact that their new players are ****e). NZ (same as Jake's reasons)
Zimbos (are honest triers)
WI - Getting disgraceful. Their antics are somewhat similar to Pakistan and nobody except Chanderpaul seems to put in everything for the team

Bangers - Should not be playing tests and their crowd does not do anything to make them endearing to others

haha.......nice quote

New Zealand: I'm not sure why
South Africa: Steyn and Kallis
Zimbabwe: This new team of theirs is so much fun
West Indies: I love the underdog with potential
England: Their bowling is the ***, but then I remember they're English
Australia: ****s
Pakistan: I used to like them, but apart from Misbah they don't register on my radar anymore
Sri Lanka: One man team. I love Sanga, but ffs learn to bat and bowl.
India: Bunch of ****s, and then there's the board...
Bangladesh: They're as mentally fragile as NZ, but with no redeeming qualities i.e. the ability to play cricket

Bangladesh - Shakib, Tamim and Mahmudullah ftw.
England
Pakistan - I no longer feel good when we beat them after the spot fixing thing. Ranked low for traditional reasons.
Sri Lanka - Cheats.
